All Nations City Church (ANCC) had ITS LAST EVENT on Sunday, February 25, 2018! It was a good time!

ANCC had a good run for 10 years; thank-you to all who were involved.

An event, “Looking Back, Yet Looking Forward: Immigrant Stories,” will be on Sat., Nov. 2, from 8:30am–12pm, at Sioux Falls Ministry Center. Come to be inspired; come to learn; come for coffee, cookies, and ethnic treats; come for FREE with no RSVP needed.

  • Former refugees & immigrants of various countries will share: 1) a history lesson explaining reasons for migration from their home country, 2) how things are now there, and 3) answers to, “what do you wish we Americans would have know when you came?”

A seminar–Policies, Statuses, and Lives of Immigrants & Refugees–was hosted by New Roots Ministry on Saturday, October 21 from 10AM–2:15PM. Speakers included Amon Eustache as the keynote speaker, and two people who shared their personal experiences as refugees and with DACA–Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. There was no cost and we enjoyed an excellent ethnic meal. It was a good time for all!

A seminar, “My Neighbors–Immigrants/Refugees in Our Region” was a good time on Sat., April 21, 2018. There was a line-up of 7 speakers, an ethnically-diverse meal, and great fellowship. Thanks to all who came!

On October 30, 2018, New Roots Ministry co-hosted an event on Immigration with the Office of Social Justice of the Christian Reformed Church. It was well-attended, with many coming to hear Jason Lief, a professor at Northwestern College, and his 3 Dreamer-friends who personally deal with DACA policies.
